Presentation time of a lighting project. Teaching the value of design and having the students internalize the design process is very close to Florian Vollmer's heart. Florian lectures at Georgia Tech's Industrial Design program, and is giving talks at other academic institutions on a regular basis. Many of his former students are now successful practitioners at places like Ziba, GE, Intel – and all are collectively contributing to the practice of design.
Areas of teaching involve core Industrial Design competencies as well as creative explorations focused on becoming a "universal designer".
